Our Ambulatory Cell Therapies Clinic

Our growing outpatient cell therapies program enables many patients to receive stem cell transplant and CAR T-cell therapies without a lengthy hospital admission. Through this program, patients receive the same high-quality, comprehensive care – conditioning chemotherapy, cell infusion, and follow-up monitoring – in our Ambulatory Cell Therapies Clinic and return home or to nearby accommodations each day during their treatment period. 

Extending these innovative therapies to both inpatient and outpatient settings allows us to offer these advanced treatments to more patients. Inpatient and outpatient locations for stem cell transplant and CAR T-cell therapies are equally safe and effective. Our care team carefully evaluates each patient to determine the best setting for their care, considering factors including:

• The patient’s treatment plan and clinical status.
• If the patient has a caregiver who is able to provide full-time support as well as transportation to and from the clinic throughout treatment.
• Nearby lodging, at the patient’s home if it is close-by, or in nearby short-term lodging or other accommodations.
